FAQ & SETTINGS

BALL PLACEMENT

For all shots (except for putting), place the ball in the middle of the two front black dots and 1 inch behind.

The yellow dot on the screen that reads “no ball detected” will turn green and say “ready” once registered.

Depending on your golf posture, you may have to pull the ball closer to your feet. If you are wearing a ball cap, you may have to turn the cap backwards so it doesn’t interfere with the lights above you.

PUTTING

When putting, you need to place your ball on the single black dot at the back edge of the hitting surface.

Once the ball is registered and ready with a green light showing on screen, you may putt*

*Putts will auto adjust to the break and all you need to do is judge the correct power/distance and putt the ball as straight as possible.

*NOTE: The distance from the putting location to the screen acts as a 10-foot putt. Adjust your stroke accordigly based on your distance to the hole.

CHIPPING

When chipping, depending on your stance/posture and type of club you are using you may experience difficulties.

If you are standing too close to the ball and “hovering” over the ball, you will cast a shadow from the overhead lights. This in turn will NOT allow your shot to register. Step further back from the ball and/or pull the ball closer to the edge of the hitting surface on the same side as your feet to avoid shadows.

If that does not work, pull the ball to the single black dot on the back edge of hitting surface and hit from there. NOTE: When doing this your ball will not show as registered and “ready” but will register once you strike.

WEDGES

If you are a player who uses dark coloured golf clubs (usually wedges, but applies to any club), you will have a very difficult time getting your shots to register even though the ball has been detected.

If this is the case, you will need to place white stickers on the toe and heel of your golf club as shown. Please ask your server for the stickers if not readily available.

TEE BLOCKS

For quickest and most enjoyable experience, players should choose a tee block based on their average driving distance.

275+ Yards = Black Tees

250 – 275 Yards = Blue Tees

225-250 Yards = White Tees

200-225 Yards = Red Tees

MODE OF PLAY

For a traditional golf experience, select STROKE PLAY as your game mode. This mode will take the longest to complete.

For a quicker round between 2 golfers, select MATCH PLAY – SINGLES.

For groups of 6 or more golfers, we strongly suggest playing SCRAMBLE as your game mode. In scramble you can designate teams and allow for a quicker game play amongst larger groups.
